Push-up Blast!

A SUPER DUPER congratulations to everyone that pushed, pulled, hinged, dipped, stepped, did squats, curled, and crunched their way through the 2025 Push-up Challenge (PUC). Thank you also for everyone that contributed $$$, including those generous anonymous donors. 

Encouraging message from Dee, who completed the Push-up Challenge this year.

“I would encourage everyone to join the Push-up Challenge event next year in our team, Get Fit For Life. You don’t need to do all the exercises, even doing 1/2 is great.

It sounds really hard, as a lot of us struggle to do push-ups on the floor. There are so many alternative exercises to do.

I have been doing the challenge for the last 4 years and enjoy having a goal to get up and move during the day (rather than sitting on the lounge). It is always during the cooler month of June, so keeps me warm as well.

I only do the alternate exercises that we do with Deb in our VITALmoves classes too.

Our mental health is so important and even the smallest amount of exercise everyday helps.”
