2026 Push-up Challenge

The Push-Up Challenge is Australia's largest mental health and fitness event.

Every year, Australians participate to improve their physical and mental fitness, have fun and raise funds to make a difference to mental health in Australia.

Push-ups

In 2025, participants completed 3,214 push-ups in 23 days, from 4-26 June. This number represents the number of lives lost to suicide in Australia in 2023 (the most recent available data).

Options for all fitness levels

We get it. Not everyone’s a push-up pro. Choose between the full target or half target when you register.

Or substitute push-ups with alternatives, like sit-ups, squats - anything goes.

Daily facts & targets

Each day you'll receive a different push-up target which corresponds to an important Mental Health Fact. Read and share to improve mental health awareness, start conversations and help smash the stigma around mental illness.

Go solo or team up

Sign up solo or be part of our Get Fit For Life team (details to come).

Stay on track with the app

Use the app to get the daily facts and targets, log your push-ups and keep track of your progress. Access fundraising tips, track your stats, stay in touch with your teammates and more.

Fundraise for the cause

You can choose to raise funds for one of our beneficiaries while you push. You can make an optional self-donation or if fundraising isn't your jam, no problem, we understand.
